One bedroom, one bathroom, and all four of you sleep in the same room, on a king and a twin over twin bunk. It suits two adults and two children rather than two couples. Wifi runs at 709 Mbps with a wired option, there is an elevator, and parking is free inside the gate.

The house, in his words

This is the smallest house we have, and the sleeping is the thing to settle before anything else. The king and the twin over twin bunk share the one bedroom, so nobody gets a room to themselves. Twin width means the bunk suits children. An adult fits, if they don’t mind a ladder.

Nothing is scaled down because the apartment is small. The oven is full size and so is the dishwasher, and there is a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, a blender and wine glasses. There is a machine on the counter for cappuccinos and lattes. It runs on Nespresso compatible capsules and froths the milk for you. The bathroom has a tub, and four of you are sharing it.

The living room is a room of its own, with a couch, a Smart TV and some books. Wifi runs at 709 Mbps and there is an ethernet connection if you’d rather plug in for a day of calls. The washer and dryer are in the apartment, with a drying rack.

An elevator runs to the floor. A pack n play and a high chair are available if you ask.

In the apartment: a smoke alarm, a carbon monoxide alarm, a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit.

Coffee

Local Good Coffee on Legacy Drive. It's a coffee shop with three lit pickleball courts attached, which sounds like a gimmick right up until you’ve spent an hour there. They pour Lemma, roasted over in Coppell, and the courts run to ten at night.

Dinner

Haywire at Legacy West if you want the hand cut steak and the room that goes with it. If the group would rather graze and stop negotiating about it, Legacy Food Hall is a short walk and everybody orders something different.

One thing to do

Arbor Hills Nature Preserve on West Parker Road, a short drive west. Two hundred acres of prairie and creek bottom with a lookout tower at the top of it, and almost nobody who visits Plano knows it's there.

Is it cheaper to book here than on Airbnb?

Yes, by roughly 10 percent on the same nights. A booking site adds its commission to the nightly rate and charges it on the cleaning fee too. On a three night weekend that is usually somewhere between $70 and $210 depending on the house. Checked 2026-08-31.

When do I get the address and the door code?

Straight after you book, from Hospitable. We show the area on this page rather than the street, because the house is somebody else’s home the rest of the time.

Can I bring a dog?

Yes. Add them to the guest count before you check the total, so the price you see is the price you pay.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancel within 24 hours of booking and you get everything back, as long as you booked at least 7 days before check in. After that the booking is non refundable. If your plans move, tell me early, because early is when I can usually do something useful.
