A two bedroom Frisco apartment with a patio of its own. The first bedroom has a king, its own bathroom and a double vanity. The second has a queen over queen bunk, so four of the six sleep in one room. The other bathroom has a tub as well as a shower.

In from 4pm, out by 11am. No smoking, no parties, dogs welcome.

The house, in his words

The patio is private to this apartment and has seating on it, and it’s the only outdoor space here that you aren’t sharing with anybody.

The king bedroom has a Smart TV and its own bathroom with a double vanity, so two people can get ready at the same time. The second has the queen over queen bunk and a Smart TV of its own. Four of the six sleep in that room. The second bathroom is a bright one with a tub as well as a shower.

The living room has a lounge chair as well as the couch, and the big Smart TV is in here. The kitchen has an island with room to stand around it. Espresso is covered. The machine takes Nespresso compatible capsules and froths the milk itself, so a cappuccino is about a minute.

The washer and dryer are in the apartment. So are an iron, an ironing board and a workspace. A high chair and a pack n play are available if you ask for them before you come, and neither counts towards the six.

Coffee

Local Good Coffee on Legacy Drive. It's a coffee shop with three lit pickleball courts attached, which sounds like a gimmick right up until you’ve spent an hour there. They pour Lemma, roasted over in Coppell, and the courts run to ten at night.

Dinner

Haywire at Legacy West if you want the hand cut steak and the room that goes with it. If the group would rather graze and stop negotiating about it, Legacy Food Hall is a short walk and everybody orders something different.

One thing to do

Arbor Hills Nature Preserve on West Parker Road, a short drive west. Two hundred acres of prairie and creek bottom with a lookout tower at the top of it, and almost nobody who visits Plano knows it's there.

Is it cheaper to book here than on Airbnb?

Yes, by roughly 10 percent on the same nights. A booking site adds its commission to the nightly rate and charges it on the cleaning fee too. On a three night weekend that is usually somewhere between $70 and $210 depending on the house. Checked 2026-08-31.

When do I get the address and the door code?

Straight after you book, from Hospitable. We show the area on this page rather than the street, because the house is somebody else’s home the rest of the time.

Can I bring a dog?

Yes. Add them to the guest count before you check the total, so the price you see is the price you pay.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancel within 24 hours of booking and you get everything back, as long as you booked at least 7 days before check in. After that the booking is non refundable. The exact terms for your dates are confirmed on the checkout page before you pay, and repeated in your confirmation. Checked 2026-09-05. Nothing is charged on this site. If your plans move, tell me early, because early is when I can usually do something useful.
