The polo room is where the house gets its name. It has the tufted Chesterfield in front of the gas fireplace, a 65 inch Smart TV, and a library ladder that runs on a rail along the shelves.
The fourth bedroom is called the Adventure Room. It has a treehouse bunk and an indoor climbing wall, which is where the energy goes on a wet afternoon. The ceiling is painted with clouds. Four children sleep in there comfortably. A hand painted Jack and the Beanstalk mural wraps the space. The master takes a king, with a Smart TV of its own and a soaking tub in the bathroom. Every bedroom has a television and a memory foam mattress, and the bathrooms have luxury bidets. Ten people and two and a half bathrooms means two showers, so mornings take some working out.
In the kitchen there is a Philips Series 3300 for espresso, hot or iced, and a Keurig beside it for single serve coffee in a hurry. And an ice machine. Wifi runs at 500 Mbps and there are two workspaces.
The back yard is big and private, with room for lawn games and a grill, and a fire pit at the end of it. Free driveway parking takes four cars, with garage space beyond that and a Level 2 EV charger in it. A crib, a pack and play, a high chair, outlet covers and stair gates are all here.
Downtown Columbia is ten minutes and so is the Polk Home, Spring Hill is twenty and Franklin thirty five. Those are drives. This is a quiet residential neighborhood built around the car. Rideshare runs in the city, it is just slower than you’ll be used to.
